Duo Omar Fadul and Alexey Chernov

Omar Fadul and famous Russian pianist Alexey Chernov started working together full time. Their Duo has a huge repertoire, ranging from the Baroque to Contemporary Music. Besides of that, both being composers, they regularly play their own compositions for flute and piano.

A bit about pianist Alexey Chernov

Alexey Chernov has been a prize-winner at over twenty international competitions and taken over ten first prizes. Particularly, he became a prize-winner of such competitions as XIV International Tchaikovsky competition, Cleveland piano competition, Maria Canals piano competition in Barcelona, Pozzoli international piano competition in Seregno (Italy), “Unisa” piano competition in Pretoria, International Piano-e-competition etc.

Alexey teaches at the Central School of Music of the Moscow State Conservatory and from 2015 also at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
